The seeds inside peach stones contain a compound which, when eaten, is converted into cyanide in your body, which can be lethal. My sister told me that yesterday – was in her lecture. Apparently it only takes 5 of them to kill the average person.

While we’re on obvious poisons, the rhubarb contains oxalate crystals which give the stem its tartness and is harmless in isolation. But the addiiton of an unknown chemical in the leaf makes it poisonous. It can make you sick, put you in a coma, or kill you.
Can you blog about the almond Snicker you didn’t get? I thought it was a funny story! It made me snigger! Ha.
